A family business
Built in 1948, Hotel Miramare was one of the first hotels in Lignano Sabbiadoro. The current owners, Mr. Giorgio and Mrs. Mirka Cattaruzza, took over the hotel in 1975. These years belonged to Lignano Sabbiadoro “golden years”, times when celebrities, actors, as well as many musicians, enjoyed the evenings and the “Bella Vita”. Tourists from all over Europe came to discover this seaside resort famous on the Italian scene.
Over the years, the tourists’ expectations have changed. It was therefore decided to invest in the construction of a swimming pool and of an underground parking. Furthermore, the entire structure of the building, all the rooms, the fourth and the fifth floors have been completely renovated. Particular emphasis was placed on the size of the bathrooms and on the attention to the details.
Today, their son Marco continues the family business with the same care and commitment.
